2011 Winners Announced
Over 160 people were in attendance at this year's awards ceremony held at the Denver Public Library. Young writers from across the state were present to accept their awards in front of a packed room of friends and family. Colorado State Poet Laureate David Mason and Justice Gregory Hobbs, along with Denver artist Rik Sargent, had many great things to say about their selections. The event also included readings by the First Place winners of both the River of Words and Letters About Literature contest.
