Voices of the Valley in Pueblo

Pueblo's second annual Voices of the Valley Chautauqua will be held Friday and Saturday, July 29-30. For three consecutive nights beginning on Monday, July 25, movies corresponding to Voices of the Valley presentations will be shown at the Rawlings Library in Pueblo. Voices of the Valley will bring history alive and introduce you to famous authors of the past who have left lasting impressions on the world's ideologies.  Professional Chautauqua scholar-performers Kevin Radaker and Brian Ellis will present Henry David Thoreau, Charles Darwin, C.S. Lewis and Walt Whitman.

Everyone is invited to bring a picnic dinner to eat during the Chautauqua performances which begin at 6:00 p.m. each night. To complement the Voices of the Valley Chautauqua, movies will be shown earlier in the week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the InfoZone on the 4th Floor of the Robert Hoag Rawlings Public Library at 100 East Abriendo Avenue, Pueblo.
