In July of 2006, Colorado Humanities presented its first four-day teacher institute to Colorado teachers, titled The Cheyenne Way: The History and Culture of the So'taaeo'o Naa Tsetsestahese. In June of 2007, Colorado Humanities offered a second teacher institute, The Arapaho Through History: Hinono'eiteen.
Thirty six teachers from the Denver Metro area and the Front Range of Colorado attended.
