Prominent African-American humanities scholars portray important black historical figues from our past to celebrate Black History Month. Each first person dramatization is followed by a question and answer period with the character, then with the scholar.

To raise awareness of African-Americans' contributions to our shared history and culture.
When/Where
During one week in February at schools, community venues, museums and libraries

Free or low cost to students and public.
Costs vary for presenting partners, libraries, colleges, and other community organizations.
Timeline
Community agencies wanting to host or fund a speaker during February need to contact Colorado Humanities by November of the previous year.
