Our Mission
The Colorado Center for the Book is a program department of Colorado Humanities which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.organization. CCFTB is devoted to encouraging reading and literacy in Colorado. We achieve this through educational programs and activities that nurture a love of books and reading. We are one of 50 state centers around the country, affiliated with the Library of Congress Center for the Book. We work to enhance Colorado’s dynamic book community and bring together writers, readers, publishers, booksellers, librarians and learners. We carry out an extensive program of community activities through community and volunteers support.

To Volunteer
The programs provided by The Colorado Center for the Book are largely driven by volunteer participation and support. If you have a love of literacy and books, we’d love to have you work with us. We have multiple opportunities for you to participate both at our events as well as integral parts of our programs.
